Code Camp 6 – Call for Speakers Now Open!

August 1, 2011

Update: Due to the HUGE number of submissions, we are shortening the deadline to EOD this Friday, September 2nd!

On Saturday, October 1, 2011, from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM, the NYC developer community will be holding our sixth Code Camp!

The call for speakers is open through (UPDATED!!!) Friday, September 2, 2011, and we’d love for you to submit your sessions, whether you’re looking to speak for the first time, or you’re an old pro.  Remember – this is an event by the community, for the community!

To apply for a speaking slot, first please register as a speaker here: http://bit.ly/ccnyc-speaker

Then with the email address you registered with on our speaker page, please add as many abstracts as you’d like here: http://bit.ly/ccnyc-session

Submit on anything you like in the development space. There is no central “theme” to our Code Camp except to focus on topics related to development.

Speakers – although we can’t afford to pay any T & E, we’ll have plenty of pizza and soda, and other fun stuff just for you!

Note: In order to help you choose the topics we may still need, we have published a live list of the submitted sessions.

Where will this Code Camp be held?

Hi Keith,

We’re negotiating with several venues, but haven’t made a decision yet. What we can confirm is that it will be in Manhattan.

Keep an eye out on this site for updated info, once the venue is finalized.
